Re: O/T Dead Wrestlers
Can anyone help me with this trivia, there was a Wrestler who joined the WCW in 99ish that had a big of buzz about him. I think his name was Joe, or Joey, with an Italian surname that died soon after he signed for WCW. I cannot find anything on him on the net. I can't think of who that is, but Joey...

VERY likely to be a drug overdose. The rumour is that Bruiser Brody flushed the drugs when he found him in his hotel room in Japan - as it says above!Exoddus wrote:David Von Erich 25 yrs - Unclear how he diedKerry Von Erich (AKA Texas Tornado) 33 yrs - Suicide

Re: O/T Dead Wrestlers
Brian Christopher is very much alive, as is Dynamite Kid who was interviewed on TV in the wake of the Benoit tragedy. He's living in a council flat in Greater Manchester, but is wheelchair-bound.

Re: Complete Set of DeAgostini's Boxers DVD's for sale.
All 40 DVD's, in their own cases and themed box. Some probably never even watched, mint condition. Open to offers. Did you get the Paul Pender DVD (number 25 I think)? They told me it was out of stock at the time & that they'd send it when it was available, but they never did. PS: It was a 50 D...

Haye is crazy if he thinks he can just walk in and compete in MMA let alone against the best guy in the world. He'd get taken down and smashed in seconds. Before all the anti MMA brigade pipe up yes Haye would smoke the MMA guy in seconds in a boxing ring. Yup. Strikers need great wrestling/takedow...

Re: worlds strongest man
Who won? I bloody well missed the final. 1) Pudzanowski (Pol) 2) Wenta (Pol) 3) Terry Hollins (Eng\GBR) I can see Terry winning the competition within 2-3 years, he's a naturally strong bear of a man. That's the thing that surprises me about Mariusz, he doesn't look 'natural' but rather looks like ...

UFC are probably the only ones who could afford to do it but nobody does it in this country. The vast vast majority of MMA events in America, and all of the main ones, fall under the auspices of the athletic commissions and as such are subject to testing. UFC, when holding events in Europe, do thei...

Watching the Vegas undercard they had another guy who was really good then wheeled out Buffer for the main event. They know how to sell the whole show. Over here we get burdis and logan, both are very amateurish not what you want fronting a show on primetime telly. John mcdonald is very good but he...

Statistically speaking MMA is much safer than boxing, and bizarrely, professional wrestling hard to tell really...there arent near as many worldwide MMA bouts per year as there are in boxing!! so, for example---with 1 death already this year, then if there were 10 times as many boxing matche...

I just sat back and thought of all the great matches we've got coming up and suddenly got all excited! A bit random i know, but besides the cracking Mitchell-Johanesson fight, theres Haye-mormeck, hatton-mayweather, calzaghe-kessler, all possible classics, to look forward to, then just think of the...

Keep in mind that when you travel to a new place, you're almost bound to like it. I mean, you're on feckin' holiday for a start, so the lack of work and the Hotel Sex (assuming you're away with your missus) is going to make you pretty well disposed to the place. There's probably German BBSs out the...

Other great times I can recall are 2002 and England playing Argentina in the world cup and Lewis-Tyson fighting in the space of about 36 hours! Things don't get much better than that... Oh yes they do, England and Lennox won. Funnily enough that weekend could have been all the more amazing; had Tim...

Another thing, due to the skyrocketing of their PPV's, Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell earned around $6 million last year, and I believe Matt Hughes earned over $3 million for sure. The awesome Randy Couture will earn several million this year as well after his August heavyweight title defence. The top...
