Re: Terry Marsh...has he been forgoten ,wiped from history
ok, but if weigh ins where still a few hours b4 the contest hatton would not of boxed at 10st while marsh would, had the boxers of terry's era had that option to weigh the day b4 he himself would be a 9.4 fighter. boxers today are generally bigger by diet and a better knowledge of conditiong, the da...

marsh v hatton, different weight's to start with, hatton would be to weak to prolong his attacks, marsh would break him down bit by bit.

Re: Paul Smith (Spoiler)
Paul was lined up to fight a decent live opponent, it unfortunately fell apart at the last minute. Ambler got the call late thursday evening to step in, it was then reduced to 6 rounds. Paul had to wait for ambler to arrive at the hotel to weigh in, ambler first had to go into work for half a day th...

Re: Board Statement on Haye/Chisora
If your involved in boxing at a certain level you would realise the shit and red tape that the board put us through.( not to mention the cost) you too would be fed up. I was told that small hall promoters are a pain in the arse and cost the board money so the board would prefer to only deal with the...

Re: Board Statement on Haye/Chisora
This organisation is recognised by the board through it's association with the ebu. Therefore it is not an unlicenced show, all those who take out a licence with lux fed can still box on any show in the world including the bbboc. there are plenty of refs, seconds and whips who have been put out in t...

Re: Board Statement on Haye/Chisora
The lux thing was well underway before mr warren got involved. fact. The new body in this country will mirror image the board in many ways such as insurance and medicals. The bbofc have no one to blame but themselves as they travel around the world on huge expenses and then out of the blue hike the ...

Re: Has Frankie Gavin got the speed and the power needed at top?
Bags of talent, but hes dedication i think is lacking, he has probs with his weight making, you agree a weight then two days before the fight they move the weight up. unproffessional at this time.

4fksake u moan about boring matches, then when a boxer is in a real match and losses it's bad matchmaking. As said above he is not a novice he's a pro now. Most of these modern fighters are not champs they r just fabricated by promoters. We have two genuine champs haye and froch. Let's see who khan ...

Re: your take on hatton the promoter??
The only shows they made money on were couches they lost 6k on the newport show, down to the brain box lawyer who was told not to bid tv money. Did not listen but tried to blame everyone else. I bet newport looks the bollocks now compared to all the other shows they have done. Fairplay all hatton fi...

If taz had told anyone in the boxing circles about this(coach, doctors etc) he would of been stopped straight away. The prat put himself at risk taking this last fight. Hope he is ok as iv'e watched taz since he was a kid.
