Trying to find any information on my dad
Re: Trying to find any information on my dad
There was a Kevin Kirk that fought in Melbourne, Australia during the years 1967 through 1969. Apparently, he was pretty good. His record was 10 wins and 2 losses. His record is in the BoxRec records. Hope this helps.Renee1985 wrote: ↑13 Jun 2020, 11:22 Hi, my dad kenneth Rees was a boxer in the day and boxed at tv ringside in

Re: Trying to find any information on my dad
Hi, I knew your father. He lived in Glenroy, trained at the gym at Justin Avenue. My father Kevin Kirk, (died 2005), was a member of the gym and strapped the hands of most of the young fighters including your dad Kenny. Kenny spent a fair bit of time at our house before going off to Vietnam. He fought under my father, Kevin Kirk's name. I will have a look to see if I still have photos of your dad. There is a facebook page called I grew up in Glenroy Victoria 3046 in the 1960's to 1970's. There are lots if people in that group that could help with memories of your dad. Hope this helps a bit. Debbie.
