Mitchell v Johanssen, is Mitchell good enough.....

Post by WildWaylon »

to beat Carl Johanssen - Both fighters have the ability to KO the other so it should be exciting - Kevin Mitchell is a good little fighter but fighting Carl is going to be a tough test for him - Can Mitchell win this one?

Can't wait for this one and I'll be there for it. I fancy Mitchell and it'll be better for British boxing if he wins as Johanneson has already found his level.

cheers, yes know him quite well..he actually comes from decent people , not sayin KM will be easy, if i were in the opposite corner, may well expect a khan -like result..[ quick start, correct punchin, try to catch, unsettle carl early] i just think the leeds corner will cover the bases and prepare for any eventuality....may the best man win..still reckon AA should still be boxing europeans as opposed to sitting it out waiting for his world title proper....[ste foster imo has no right to be boxing alex at this point.... :TU:

I've seen Mitchell box well and then lose his rag the first moment he gets tagged. He looks bigger, more mobile and faster than Carl. But I think Johanesson is seasoned for this kind of fight. Mitchell will look good early and then when Carl starts nailing him it could swing the other way and go in that direction. All this talk of levels, but I'm not sure I can see Mitchell getting past the WBU sort of level.

Looking forward to it.
