Best boxer of last 15 years???

Hey guys. Now Floyd Mayweather has defeated every threat available to him, where does that place him in the ratings of all boxers since 1992.

Other contnders that compete with Pretty Boy are Bernard Hopkins, who went undefeated for 10 years as well as making 20 defenses of the middleweight title. He also is the only man to have KO'd Felix Trinidad and Oscar De La Hoya.

Roy Jones is another candidate. A 4 weight world champion who made history by dethroning John Ruiz and winning a version of the Heavyweight title. Longevity issues and tinkering with bodyweight was what led to Roy's demise, but in his prime he was unstoppable.

I believe Oscar De La Hoya is another worthy rival. 6 Weight world champion, never ducked a challenge, and has also been on the receiving end of some shocking decisions. Pushed Floyd all the way in their superfight earlier this year which suggests that a prime Golden Boy would have emerged victorious.

I believe the aforementioned fighters to be the best fighters of the last 15 years. Lets hear your opinions.

the best pure boxer of the last 15 years is pernell whitaker...it was only when he got old that he was getting hit

he beat de la hoya but the judges were blind

Not one mention of Ricardo Lopez.... Thats dissapointing - the man who Chavez and Barrera have both called the greatest Mexican of all time.

And no mention of Mosley either!! Naz getting mentioned more than Mosley and Lopez.

Well done on bringing Lopez into the equation. A terrific fighter. There is quite a few guys who have not beeen mentioned. James Toney, Evander Holyfield, Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez.

Typical Lewis knocker. I think its fair to say that Lewis will make most peoples top 10. Both his KO's were frightening and wouldve felled most heavies. Both defeats were easily avenged as well.

The issue of Lewis being knocked out twice is very highly documented. Tyson being mauled by Buster Douglas was a much worse scenario.

Lopez had nobody to fight. How many men at 7stone 7lbs are athletes? Not many. He was very good but not all he's been cracked up to be as a pound4pounder by some.
