No Contest or Draw?

Post by ervierto »

The Emmett Linton-Charles Whittaker fight was declared a no contest, and yet it is listed as a draw. The same is true for the Derrick Gainer-Daniel Seda fight.
The Gainer-Seda fight has been changed twice before and keeps getting changed back. Would someone please determine finally whether these fights are no contests or draws and leave them unchanged in the database? Thank you very much.

Can't see reason for 'No Contest' remarks.
No Contest verdict is given by the referee ONLY when, in his opinion, the 2 contestants are not doing their best, ignore & disobey rules etc etc.

Both read – fight stopped due to cut (accidental head clash) and therefore the decision is Technical Draw.
Linton/Whittaker – might have gone to scorecards.
Gainer/Seda – insufficient rounds completed to go to the cards.

Cheers!
Oz Editor......I'll leave it for editor Grey to change it :D
