British Fighter of Year (Domestic) - IAN NAPA (wins belt after all that time and defends numerous times including against a man who previously bettered him)

British Fighter of Year (International) - JOE CALZAGHE. Still Britains Blue Riband boxer. The standard bearer. Honourable mention to JUNIOR WITTER, I'd like to see him really ruffle some feathers now!

Overseas Fighter of Year (fought in UK) - STEVEN LEUVANO. Read a great piece on him in either BM or BM prior to fight and although I believe Mr Abrahams tipped Cook I knew it was gonna be tough. Turned out thus. Joint tie with STEVE MOLITOR who came to England and beat Michael Hunter in Hartlepool - no mean feat I assure you, except I forget if it was this year or last Molitor exudes skill for me. To think (some) people were saying RH would become the best P4P fighter if he won his last fight is just plain nuts.
Honourable mention - LEVA KIRAKOSYAN. A real f*cking no-nonsense fighter.

Overseas Fighter of Year (fought anywhere) - FLOYD MAYWEATHER for making it look easy whilst amassing a phenomenal bank balance.

British Fight of Year - ANDERSON - JONES welterweight title. Honourable mentions for Anderson - Nuumbembe and Arthur-Foster.

International Fight of Year - I'm more into the British Scene. I'll give you TAYLOR- PAVLIK as a starter for ten.

Most Improved Brit Fighter - FRANCIS JONES. Having suffered a first round KO in summer '06, and having amassed about 2 knockouts in total then put 5 wins together on spin (4 cosecutive KOs) including over good opposition in Jamie Coyle, Craig Dickson and Neil Sinclair, culminates in 12th round defeat to Anderson in a fight he give everything plus interest. Not an inconsiderable achievement for a 17yr old starter IMO.

Most Promising Brit Prospect (under3 yrs or 15fights) - AMIR KHAN if he's still eligible, which he must be surely. Honourable mention - PAUL APPLEBY.

British Trainer of Year - ENZO MAC. But I don't know enough. Big mention to THAT BLOKE who trains David Haye. Would've given Bob Shannon a shout but things went a bit tits-up for Morris and Anderson didn't they.

British Champagne Moment - Nice to see Ali Nuumbembe win a title, there's a fella that deserved a break ..........and loads of othe stuff I can't think of just now
