Post by Mimmy »

Im reading Roberto Duran's autobiog at the moment, and was wandering if there was a biog about Thomas Hearns. Also Hagler.

i love reading boxing books and read quite a few biographies, Benn, Eubank, Micheal Watson, Bruno etc but would love to know if there is a book about the Hitman

Hearns biography would make for a great read.

I think they will produce one after 5 or so more Ali biographies.

It would be interesting to read an autobiography like someone like Thomas Hearns. It would be very exciting to read.

Also a Marvelous Marvin Hagler book would be nice.

But right now, I want the Ken Buchanan autobiography... I would also like an autobiography by Carlos Ortiz, Ismael Laguna, Emile Griffith and Wilfred Benitez for example.

Apparently Hagler one is due either this year or next.

I don't think you'll see one from Benitez, he has trouble tying his shoelaces.

Hagler's will make for interesting reading. With Marvin, you know he will tell it like it is! No messing!

Wasn't Kid Gavilan working on his autobiography around 1959?(In Spanish)
I think it was interuppted by Fidel Castro and the boys.
