Horseracing!!!! I thought you guys raced kangaroos and used sheep to swell your population census - By the way no need to thank us for giving you rabbits, its OK    you gave us Rolf Harris so I guess we are quits, annoying man, annoying bloody records - Thats it no more posts back to pommyland where I belong - Gooday from Waylon. (who said thank Christ for that)
Rolf was not enough to get square for garbage like Coronation Street, Father Dear Father and On the Buses.

That is why we inflicted Neighbours and Home and Away on you.

Brilliant, thanks for your reply - Yes some of our programs were bloody awful - For some daft reason On the Buses did a great deal to help bus crew recruitment, but God knows why - I have to admit to being a big fan of Cell Block H, I just loved it and never missed an episode - Neighbours and Home and Away were really big here once, I think Neighbours still is - Rolf enjoyed real success here in Animal Hospital and now hes doing an art program - I remember him right back to the 60s - Very gifted man, can do almost anything well - Cheers Waylon. :TU:

Cell Block H? Was that the lesbian laden program from the late 70s originally known as Prisoner?

It certainly was!

A few years ago Foxtel's UKTV used to show Prisoner under the guise that it was a Pommie show. It was still crap all those years later. I believe the Poms used "Cell Block H" as it's moniker as not to confuse the locals with another late 60s Show: The Prisoner.

Prisoner and The Prisoner are like chalk and chesse, but that's another story.

As for Rolf Harris, you are welcome to the sod. He is regarded here as a professional Australian.

To be honest I had never made any connection between the two programs, as you rightly say chalk and cheese - We had a very similar program in the 60s called, Within these walls - As with Prisoner cardboard walls often moved as doors were slammed - Actually Rolf is very popular these days, now he has left, Two little boys/Tie me Kangaroo and all that crap well behind him - However its that stuff that made him famous and his huge paintings.

Kickett was too good for Tommy. William is a pretty good fighter, though.

Tommy looked great in the first round (and I thought he won two others) but I think its fair to say he wasn't at the top of his game. He will do better after a couple more fights if he chooses to continue. At only 24 he could still have a future...
