it's not that the category doesn't exist, if you are talking about world class boxers some are bound to be bettter than others.
It's just a bit disrespectful.......to be a worls class boxer is a MASSIVE achievement. It shouldn't then get belittled by the word "average" just to suit a few forum enthusiasts IMO

Ok, so find me somewhere that suggests hopkins ridiculous claims (after a prelim agreement) were not the reason, find me somewhere that says Ottke was not offered 1m to fight in Germany. I thought Collins ducking him was a given, do you think Joe somehow ducked him instead?

Ottke made more than 1m against Mitchell, and he was in negotiations for a 3m fight against DM. 1m was a meager offer, made mostly for the British press. Moreover, Calzaghe called Ottke out only in 2003 after the Larsen and Reid fights, when it was obvious that Ottke's legs had gone and that he was there for the taking. Calzaghe/Warren should have targeted Ottke in 1999-2001 -- they didn't.

This said, Calzaghe gained my respect for fighting Kessler.
