That will be a first Hitman - you are always a great advocate of never attending live boxing - why break the habit if a lifetiime?? :)

Hearns was top, one of the lads in the picture was actually going to take it but The Hitman summoned one of his, how do you pu tit nicely, ladies of the night? out of the limo to take it for us. To be honest it was hard to understand what he was saying, he was slurring quite badly, and was shuffling around akin to someone who has suffered a stroke. Thats why we were so suprised when he announced he was in training for a comeback a month after!

But his stamina was still there, I was like a devil pocessed, sleeping a couple of hours a night, but everytime I saw him, he was with another lady, either shuffling from his room, or shuffling out of it, all the time. Think he slept less than me!

There is so many famous people wandering around Vegas its unreal, I was nervous about approaching them as they were enjoying themselves and now wish I had done. Been great to get autographs and pictures for the scrap book. Tried to get Duran but everytime he wandered past and I got the camera and pen out he was gone!

Also interesting that it was noted by the thread originator that Ricky Hatton was only drinking wine. Following on from a previous thread it's clear that Ricky is following James Mcdonnells (from this forum) advice and cutting out the beer and sticking to wine in an effort to keep his weight down.

This speaks volumes about how he is now re-dedicating himself to the sport! Bernard Hopkins will be seeking advice from Ricky next on how to stay in shape between fights!

Yeah mate it was defo wine, we were all getting photos of him and he says no photos with the glass of wine in my hand use will all be saying am a poof,

Bigped , it wasn`t just the fans who were to blame for the poor turnout on the Friday night show. Golden Boy`s marketing left a lot to be desired. After the show most of the British fans I spoke to were unaware it had been on which was a pity as some of the bouts on show were pretty good especially Bronco McCart`s loss and your pal Craig McEwan , throwing punches in from every angle.
In spite of Golden Boy being the most talked about of today`s boxing promoters I still get the feeling that there is a lack of adventure there. In short , nobody seems to be showcasing the stars of the future. Young lads like Craig deserve better.
