A 6 monthly meeting for British forum posters?

Post by knockout artist »

Any ideas.

We could meet at a show or have a dinner or a drink or a piss up.

We could pay an annual subscription and have a treasurer (I nominate Bennie)

We could hold the event in different parts of the country.

If we arranged something say three or four months in advance of the first one, this would give those travelling a distance the opportunity to arrange transport, accomodation etc.

What do you think?

Ah, not ESB, Rob. That would lead to violence.

The last we discussed it, We were looking at The Griffin near Charrings Cross/Embankment on the last Friday of Jan. It hasn't been discussed properly since before Xmas, but a fair few were interested at the time. I was gonna put up a thread next week as it goes on BA, but like I say - a few of you BoxRec boys should come along.

Hey the last Friday of Jan.

We could all get pissed up and then get a train to the Goresbrook Leisure Centre for Eastman-Sendra.

You know who will be there....

Na, i think its just a regular pub. I've not been in there, but Doyley and Doggyland recommended it - so blame them if theres a 50y/o fattie swinging round a pole. :D
