What a bully King is.
Disgusting and vile, the size of the fella, can you imagine the fear he would install into a defenceless woman.
I feel for Spud here because he was only doing his usual 'i have knowledge' post..and he does have a lot of insiders knowledge, but he doesnt deserve to be brought into the same bracket as that monster.
Chin up Spud.
Its supposed to be only banter but sometimes gets a bit personal.

no one is associating spud with the dealings of king, far from it, ijm pleased to say the forum has behaved well on this occasion, as its obviously a very sensitive subject.

Spud did stand his ground and tell enzo that he says things how he sees them; in quite an intimidating situation. The spud fellow went up in my estimations after that, (not that he was low in mine anyway).

Spud's got more balls than alot of people who post on here. I think a few people need to cut the spud some slack because I for one enjoy reading his boxing posts and find his opinion interesting and insightful.
thank you very much mrs woollatt.....
Jim is one of my lads at BBN and a fine fellow too.

King is one vile piece of sh*t.

I can understand why Spud's irritated even though many of the comments on this thread bare no malace towards him.

Collectively we've irritated a small minority of posters here - its probably mutual - but all of us have a lot to offer forums collectively.

So, on that note, this is a truce from me and I'd like to wish everyone a happy Christmas (except that pudendum Paul King).

Cheers.

I'm not one for suggesting this, but could I respectively suggest this thread is now closed.

King is monster that much is clear and there are only so many ways to say it.

I think we should leave him to rot and extinguish this thread before it does any harm,.

I might be wrong, but I’m fairly certain it is only the owners of a forum that can actually be sued, not individual posters. Something about them technically providing the mechanism by which the libellous comment is made public. That is why moderating a forum is serious job.

Targeting an individual poster would be pretty hard. Even if you had their IP address, if they lived in a house with 4 others – how would you prove who posted it?

I agree ranting on about legal action on here is a bit daft. I haven’t read a single post where someone has accussed Spud of anything whatsoever, only asked him a question or two. Perhaps comments were deleted – no idea.

This thread should be closed - it detracts from the quality of a good forum.

King, who was handed a 12 month suspension from boxing in 2005 after verbally abusing a referee and pushing him during a fight at Rotherham's Magna Centre,
What was the story here? I was out of the country for a year from August 2005 and I must have missed it.
King had been due take on former Olympic gold medallist Audley Harrison - who would have been his most well-known opponent - in October at Sheffield Arena but the fight was cancelled because he was arrested for the rapes.
Thought that was cancelled due to Audley's crash?

It was when the referee, I think it was Howard Foster, stopped his fight with Carl Baker too early. He got a bit incensed and “went off.”

Wrong !!

Audleys fight was cancelled due to his crash - but at that time he was fighting Lee Swaby - this was due to King being where he was.

Firstly, certainly in this country, it is almost unheard of for hookers to allow anything of a sexual nature to happen before payment is made. Therefore unless you actually force yourself on her (which would almost exclusively be classed as rape), it is unlikely that you would end up in such a predicament.

Hypothetically, were you to agree a price for sex with a prostitute that would be paid after said act took place, and you failed to make payment; it would be very unlikely that an allegation of rape would stand up in court. On the contrary. The girl clearly consented to the act of sex, in this instance - as far as any rape allegation is concerned - the money is irrelevant to that. You failed to pay for services rendered. There have been a limited number of such cases that have gone to the criminal courts (theft or robbery) but as a rule it would more than likely be classed as a civil issue. Providing, of course, no violence was involved.

I was under the impression the plan was Audley v King for starters, followed by Audley v Swaby. But never heard anything official about Audley v Swaby, just rumours.

Carlos-Wigan wrote:The only thing I have to say about Paul King in relation to Spud is that I thought it was a disgrace for a man that size who is also a professional fighter to knock about Spud the way he did in Vegas... whatever Spud was doing I'm sure it didn't merit that kind of response and it now clarifies that Paul King is not only a thug and a bully but now he has been exposed as a sexual predator... they should throw away the key.

Now King and Purple Aki are locked away for the foreseeable future, the streets of the UK are now a lot safer. :TU:
We all had a good laugh about it, but if you put it that way, you have a good point. Any professional boxer should know better than to hit a member of the public.

For all those who think he's going to get cut up or attacked or buggered in prison....

No he's not......he's a big pro heavyweight and he'll be put on the nonce's wing where he will probably be top dog because of his size and fighting ability.

If anyone is doing the buggering it will be him...........
