Yeah, always thought he's got champion written all over him. I think he will suceed Hopkins, and will also suceed Calzaghe / Ottke at Super Middle.steve689 wrote:Taylor looked flawless in his last fight against Martinez on the Jones-Tarver undercard. He can do everything, i think we have a very special fighter on our hands here guys.

No doubt Taylor looks a special fighter, have you seen his left jab
Credit to channel 5 for putting ESPN2 fights on 8)
Its also easier for us all to avoid the result when its only a 24 hour delay!
McCoy is looking forward even more so to the undercard fight between Nate Campbell & Daniel Attah
Campbell of course lost a close decision to Joel Casamayor on the Mayorga v Forrest 1 undercard, some even thought that he won the fight
Attah is best remembered for his brave performance against Acelino Freitas in a fight where Attah had his moments, but lost on points, but since has beaten Bulgarian prospect Toncho Tontchev, and has since lost to unknown mexican Manuel Bocanegra
Both guys are good fighters, & are pretty much evenly matched
Channel 5 should definitely show this fight, as their program is scheduled for 1hr 20mns long

It's funny you should say that, because coming out of the olympics, he weren't looked at as the most talented one, but he has emerged. That's why I hate when people hype up good amateurs.steve689 wrote:Taylor looked flawless in his last fight against Martinez on the Jones-Tarver undercard. Yeah i orderded the HBO version of Jones-Tarver and Taylor's fight was at the start of the undercard before a snoozefest between Winky Wright and Angel Hernandez. Taylor just smashed the jab into Martinez's face all night and even doubled up and threw in a solid left hook, unofficial judge Harold Lederman even gave him a 10-8 in one round without having his man on the floor such was his dominance. He eased up in 5 and 6 and moved onto the back foot and against the ropes at times and was equally impressive, despite his record the tough Martinez was no mug and Taylor picked him off with classy counter shots. He's a star in the making and is well spoken and listens to country music apparently
Not your average fighter from the "Hood" i don't think.
