lets be fair to gavin. he did absolutely the right thing against mbaye - get in, use his faster hands and get out again and hope the gas makes it to the last bell before mbaye wakes up. you can only beat the guy in front of you. we all know he is not even the best lightweight in the UK let alone lightwelter but he has put himself in line for a decent few paydays which is something few boxers ever do. no illusions but i hope he earns well without getting badly beaten before its all done. pity lynes's diary is too full to get him a crack at this belt.
