Some of the things written in the US press before the fateful night against pintor are sadening too "just a pipe cleaner with ears" etc... think they respected old Johnny after the fight though. As for the behaviour of the fans post fight, well, it makes it laughable when people whinge about "hattons lot" booing the US anthem.

Incidentally does anyone have a really good copy of the dcumentery with Dick going to meet Pintor. I have one but it has a loud fuzzing noise over it, poor recording.

Got a nice old French poster of Ali in the 70's bio flick The Greatest - "Le Plus Grand".

I've never seen it, lots of old 70's names in it, and Ali of course, but I think it must've been pretty dire as it hasn't seen the light of day for years.

Got a brilliant Rocky calendar, March is my favourite, Clubber Laing - I don't hate Balboa, I pity the fool.

Emerson got me a signed Rocky poster by Sly. Thanks mate

Also got two copies of Fight Night for the XBOX 360 and also the bio of Sugar Ray Robinson that someone recommended on a previous thread so can't wait to get stuck into it.

Plus lots of poker books so not a bad Chrimbo really.

I got a Boxing Legends 3 DVD boxset; consisting of Champions Forever, Champions Forever: Latin Legends & the Rocky Marciano lifestory.

Also got 101 great knockouts in 101 minutes. 8) 8)

Yes this was not one of Ali's better films, his documentary films from the 70's are much better and the vintage poster to these films go for a LOT more.

Still game is one of the funniest shows on TV, the Christmas specials this year were a treat and last years episode with Jim Watt and Michelle McManus were superb.

Still Game is one of the most underrated comedies on TV, there was another great sitcom called '15 stories High' with Sean Lock , which is one of the best i've seen.
