Then you've got boxers such as Urango, Ngoudjo, Hopkins and Olusegun who are good, but Witter wouldn't earn much out of those fights for the risk.

I really think he's got to get back in the press and make a stand to fight Hatton, its the only serious money fight out there.
Agreed, everyone who can and Witter in particular need to push for a fight with Hatton - Ricky after his loss needs a huge confidence builder and needs to make a big statement to the boxing world - Beating Witter would do just that and also please his fans in a massive domestic dustup that we all want to see happen - It would also serve to silence many who think Witter is the best LWW - Hatton has a blemish on his record and is looking to get another if he continues to turn Witter down - I think Witter is becomming more popular than he was because he wants the fight but Hatton continues to avoid him.

Malignaggi and Castillo (who appears to be shot) are the only decent names left at light welter, it's true. And it's not even like there are any big names at lightweight waiting to move up. There's only really Diaz, and I can see him staying where he is for a while yet.

maybe a move to welter and take on Judah in a re match, but might be a hard sale for US tv.

I think Harris would give any of the top 140 pounders a tough fight and what was impressive about Witters performance was not just that he beat Harris but how he beat him.
