Where will they put on the Haye- Macc fight? O2?

Went to the UFC at the O2 and apart from the fact that it was a b1tch to get to and from (at least from where I was staying) the venue itself was first class. I would gladly go back there.

Surely FW will look to put in on in Wales though and give Macca territorial advantage?

FW has got the fight at Cruiser, gaining a clear advantage for his Maccarinelli. Allegedly can't have it all his own way, can he?

If it does end up at Cardiff, then when Haye wins, even more respect will have to given to him, for defeating another guy in his own backyard!

I'm a big Haye fan, but why do I also have a feeling at the back of my mind that this fight may one too many at 200lbs?

Haye clearly struggles with the weight - he was 213lbs on the night against Mormeck. I bet Enzo is nowhere near that on the night!

I hope allegedly has no options on Haye at all. That way, when Haye wins, he can ride off up to HW & no legalities can hinder his career stage at HW.

On a seperate issue, we should all, no matter who we want to win, give Haye credit for taking the fight! Let's face it, Maccarinelli needs Haye more than Haye needs Maccarinelli!

It will have to be in Wales.

I can't see Maccarinelli wanting to fight outside of Wales (if possible), whereas Haye will go anywhere necessary.

Hope there is Hatton Mayweather type hype for this fight. Would be really good for the sport in the UK with the England Wales angle and the high KO raiting for both fighters, also Haye is naturaly good in the media.

If its Millenium stadium or somewhere they will need a good undercard cos the fight is lickly to be short also if they could get another couple of good fights (rees title defence and Khan doing something) then they could fill it out.

i heard haye was getting £1,000,000 for the fight does anyone know if this true? i know he will get a big payday for this but i wouldnt have thought it would be quite that much

Don't see it being that much however he could have been expecting similar pay days soon at HW so fair enough I guess. Wouls see 500,000 being more likely an amount. but don't realy know much about pruses

213 on the night, doesn't sound like such a big deal, when you consider Hatton weighs in at around 154 on fight night, and is a much smaller man than Haye.

I have no idea, but anything from £250,000 to £400,000 would seem to be a relistic guesstimate.

£1mil seems a bit much to me

I agree, we do want to see a good undercard, but will we - Its up to Setanta to put pressure on.

Is there an arena in Wales big enough to stage the fight apart from the Millennium stadium?

I can't see it being staged at the millennium, because they won't sell more than 20,000 tickets for the fight. I think that's why the O2 has been hotly tipped. No point in wasting money on a stadium fight when there is an indoor arena big enough to cater for the ticket demand.

Will the weather be good enough in March to stage a fight at either of those venues? Doubtful and Fwank is not going to want to risk it. I think it will be at the O2.

Obviously Fwank would love to give Enzo home advantage, but there isn't a good enough venue in Wales, so you might as well stage the fight in Haye's backyard to get the punters in. That's what it's all about at the end of the day and Enzo's fans can still travel down from Wales.

Liberty would definately be good enough in a Summer fight - it would be great, hosting lots of music concerts now and its Enzo's real home patch.

There is the CIA for indoor as a possbility also.

An unconfirmed source informs me that Warren and Maloney got together and made this dream fight a reality.

Little Frank was spotted leaving Sports Network B4 Christmas.

Nice to see the two Franks working together for the good of British Boxing.

Looks like the boxing boom is set to keep growing unlike the housing market.

Any info on tickets yet.
