It would certainly seem so. I don't really get it, allegedly is far and away the most successful promoter in the country, why do adverse comments affect him so badly, why does he really give a shit.
Don King, who is accused of far far worse things than anything that gets slung as Warren, just seems to laugh most of it off.

Sports Network are showing themselves up in the exchange with Boxing News.
Warren & co will come off second best, if they havent done already.
I cant recall his name but Warrens "boy" also replied to BN last week and said that x amount of SN boxers won the BN awards, in a letter trying to accuse BN of being biased.
However, all the letter proved was that BN gave more awards to SN fighters than any others.

I think he has taken the junkyard dog attitude that got him to the top and kept it.bennie wrote:Evans wrote in his boxing book, "Dancing Shoes is Dead", that Warren is "incredibly sensitive to criticism." Isn't he just.
I don't think that he can allow any slight (however small) allow it passed him, without considering it someone taking advantage of him!
He had to battle with extremely established and closed shop on the way up so I don't blame him at all for throwing his weight about - he comes from a world where even silence can be interpreted as weakness.
James Mac - Don King HAS to laugh off any number of accusations - he is a convicted killer and fraudster. If 10% of the stories told of him are true, the last place on earth he would ever want to be is a court - whatever the circumstances.

From prior experience, Don King has little to worry about in court, in
all the years I've been following boxing, Don has lost 1 lawsuit only.
I don't think that allegedly has much to worry about, surely if the shows are that successful, his pre-eminence as the UK's leading promoter isn't a problem.
I mean don't you think it silly that any criticisms here are picked up on, it's not like they have any real bearing on his empire. In the articles I've written I think I've always been fair and even handed, criticism where due, and praise too.
I can understand the mentality, but it seems that Warren surely has passed that point. Then again, I've never been a boxing promoter, so what do I know?
