Can Maccarinelli Beat Cunningham?
With his stoppage of touted Marco Huck in Germany on Sat, Steve Cunningham proved himself a force beyond doubt at cruiserweight. This is a hard working guy who fights anyone abroad. He doesn't always get it right, but he has beaten Rothman in South Africa, Wlodarczyk in Poland and Huck in Germany.
For a cruiser, he's very fast - hits in combination, moves, well. He's also tough, dealing with a lot of holding and mauling by Huck, eventually hurting and stopping the man.
Safe to say he's a known quantity.
I've been very pro-Haye going in to the Mac fight. However, if Macca wins the big fight, he can attract Cunningham to the UK, which is maybe best for the future of the divison and further big fights.
If it ever comes to a Macca-Cunningham unification, how would it go? Would Cunn be too fast and persistant? Would Mac's size and power help chop down a man who IMO hits like a light heavyweight?

Possible, but not sure how hard Enzo really hits - sure he flattens the likes of Gunn & Aizzoui, but he didn't come close to stopping the supposedly shop worn & vunerable Braithwaite did he.
If Wayne can hang around for 12 with Macca, then you'd assume a cagey boxer like Cunningham could as well, and likely come out on top with a points win.
Got to laugh at the Germans report of the Huck fight, take a look at the photos and you'd assume Huck won easily. They couldn't even bring themselves to show a photo of SC landing a single punch!

See what you mean, laughable isnt it, bad losers the Germans - I have a lot of faith in big Enzo who I believe will take over from Joe as the gym star when Joe quits.MightyWarrior wrote:Possible, but not sure how hard Enzo really hits - sure he flattens the likes of Gunn & Aizzoui, but he didn't come close to stopping the supposedly shop worn & vunerable Braithwaite did he.

To be honest mate it's worse than that.........all the action they do show tends to feature Cunningham getting whacked. The Krauts have embarrassed themselves with that display.MightyWarrior wrote:Possible, but not sure how hard Enzo really hits - sure he flattens the likes of Gunn & Aizzoui, but he didn't come close to stopping the supposedly shop worn & vunerable Braithwaite did he.

I think if this fight was made in Wales that Maccarinelli would have too much for Cunningham - in the Braithwaite fight, Enzo was very controlled because he knew that Big Truck had the power to hurt him, whereas I think with Cunningham he'd be able to walk through most of the shots to land his own - and he certainly has the power for a KO here.

There was a gay porn spammer on this thread. Looks like it's safe to come back on this thread.Captain Hook wrote:What the f*** does that mean? Could Enzo cope with Cunn's movement?
