WAS SEARCHING FOR THAT BIG BROTHER BOXER THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN METRO AND CAME ACROSS A LOAD OF EUBANK INTERVIEWS

No. Eubank may have said that for attention, though. And Eubank felt threatened by Lewis in the early 90s, so would talk about his 'lack of personality'. Jones used a stiff jab against Ruiz (usually he led with the hook or right) that wouldn't reach against Lewis, and without that stiff jab against Ruiz he wouldn't have won.

Jones saw the Ruiz fight as a matter of life and death. No way would he ever have fought Lewis. Because he would have got killed in there. He lost a lot of mobility bulking up, meaning it would have been curtains for him.

He even had second thoughts about Corrie Sanders, due to Sanders' power, so no way would he have fought Lewis.

Going back to 175 was a bit of a shock to his system, though. Always wondered why he didn't settle at cruiser.

Roy said at the time of the Ruiz fight that Lewis was to big and strong for him. He knew that the Ruiz's style of punch and grab was suited to the type of fight that RJJ wanted.

In the 1st round of the Ruiz fight, Roy got stunned by a couple of punches, Lewis would have KO'd him eventually

Had the ref allowed Ruiz to fight inside he'd have probably got to Roy too.
