just out of interest, and im asking on behalf of pottsy who is looking for a copy of this fight when he won the southern area crown. has anyone got this one in their archives. it was the same night that michael holden beat julius francis on points at the york hall for the british HW title.

I will ask my brother, he usually has these small hall shows.

If Mark wants a DVD of his best win I have it.

His KO of Osborne Mashimane was superb, after going down twice.

Mashimane was class. Riddick Bowe but not nurtured.

Potter sold out the venue and showed massive heart

mark has been fighting unlicensed, he is 7-0 on the unlicensed circuit, the BBB of C still refuse him a pro licence since his retinal surgery after the sprott defeat. seems like you need to be a decent name like frank bruno to get your license back after retinal surgery.

mark is contemplating trying to go through an EEC country to get a license so he can fight pro again but on the continent.

and if you fancy sending the mashimane victory to me ill make sure mark gets it, as im sure he wont be keen for me to pass his address on to a stranger. thanks.

I remember the fight.

And I remember Holden v Francis. I thought Francis let him win to be honest. No disrespect intended but Holden has to be one of if not the worst British champion of alltime.

I saw the Potter v Palatis fight recently, for someone as inexperienced as Mark was he put up a very good display.

When he fought Danny Watts who was seen as the favourite?
