Jimmy Goodrich

In the Ring Issue 1, 15th Feb 1922, it has Johnny Goodrich WKO5 over Danny Grieves, at Scranton, Pa on 01/20/1922 is this one of Jimmy's fights?. I see he had a KO5 against Grieves in March according to the record on here.

Your January fight is obviously correct. It's a question of whether it is also the undated March fight in view of the same venue and the same result. Post your question again and direct it to Matt as he entered the March bout so from his source he may be able to decide if there was one or two bouts.

Thanks, I have changed the bout, could be that they saw it in a March magazine originally.

Hey Guys -- The Ring had the wrong date -- the Grieves-Goodrich bout was held Jan 19, not Jan 20. I fixed it. Jim Brown provided me with a photocopy of the Buffalo Courier which confirms.

Another Goodrich bout -- he fought Tommy Noble a 4th time in 1922 -- a May 24 10-round draw at Toronto. Somebody will ahve to add this one.
