York hall show on January 31 looking useful
I saw Michael Lomax in his debut against Ernie Smith and I was very impressed with him, quick rangy and he looked powerful (he had the durable Ernie Smith on the canvas in the first if I remember correctly) until hurting both hands, then he just put on an exhibition for the last 3 rounds. I think he has got a big future which is more than I can say for his football team (West Ham)

I am surprised that Micahel Lomax fights on Ringsdie cards and on BBC cards. Does any one know if he has a promoter/contract or not.
Also it is a shame the Bami fight is only 6 rounds. This looks a great fight. This really could be a make or break fight for Bami, seeing his opponent fought at Welter weight against Hare.
I hope matchroom arent hanging Bami out to dry.
Still we all remember Lightsoot Pryce Vs Kirpa theory

No, what theory is that?cat wrote:I am surprised that Micahel Lomax fights on Ringsdie cards and on BBC cards. Does any one know if he has a promoter/contract or not.

Basically his theory was that Pryce was being hanged out to dry after the SInclair defeat so warren was putting him in with Ivan Kirpa who had just signed and was 17-0. No easing Pryce back in with a 6 rounder or anything. Any way Kirpa was shit and Pryce easily won over the distancebennie wrote:No, what theory is that?cat wrote:I am surprised that Micahel Lomax fights on Ringsdie cards and on BBC cards. Yes it is a nice card, alot of fighters looking to redeem themselves following recent defeats. It will be interesting to see what fights sky televise.
I am sure Bami, Lynes and Adrian Dodson (I thought he really had retired) didn't think their next fight might be televised. I am sure, Sky will not only show Williams - so one of the (at least) is likely to have some television exposure on their "comeback".
