Yes, but there's an excellent chance that Witter would beat Malignaggi, which would rather scupper a Hatton-Malignaggi fight later in the year, wouldn't it? Malignaggi will not come over here to fight Witter, not if it could ruin his chances of the massive payday against Hatton.

That's kind of my point. I said if Malignaggi "has" anything about him he should take up a risky fight to prove himself as the best in the division, like he claims everytime he's on T.V. The Witter fight won't come off in England because Malignaggi for me "doesn't" have it. I do agree with you that it will never happen but surely great champions have to travel once in awhile and take a massive risk abroad? Just look at Kostya Tyszu, Steve Cunningham and Ricky Hatton, just to name a few recent ones - all took massive risks against great opponents to prove that they are the best in their division, something of which Malignaggi will never do - hence me rating him only 4th in the division behind Ngoudjo (he lost to him, no doubt in my mind), Hatton and Witter.

Cotto is crap? Give me a break. He beat Mosley and Judah, two fights a lot of people thought he's lose. He's a top 10 current P4P fighter. You don't mention how Cotto was badly weight drained when he fought Paulie. Also, the layoff affected Paulie in this fight. I never liked the guy, but his timing seemed off and he seemed rusty.
I had the fight 115-113 for Paulie and I can't stand the guy. I could see the fight easily being a draw or 115-113 for Ngoudjo. It was a close fight that could have swung either way. Two score cards were ok, but the 117-111, or whatever it was, was bad.
For the people that say Ngoudjo won 116-112 or 117-111, that is just as bad, if not worse, then thinking Paulie won 117-111. People are acting like this is the robbery of a lifetime. The FightWriter had ir 115-113 for Paulie as well. It was a close fight, an no robbery. Also, I had Castillo beating Ngoudjo 115-113 as well.....
For all the Ngoudjo feelings or sorrow, he wouldn't even be in this fight if they would have gave Bailey the decision. I had Bailey winning the fight, but it was close. Like this fight, a few close rounds went to the home fighter. It happens a lot in boxing. Does anyone REALLY think Huck was up on Cunningham going into the last round!?!?
It doesn't matter because Hatton runs over both these guys at 140...
I'd rather watch my grass grow than see a Witter/Paulie fight. Style wise, I don't think that fight will be to fan friendly....
