Brit boxers of the past
If someone was to ask you who you would most like to hear about in terms of British fighters of yesteryear, what would you answer.
I mean, we all know about what happened to the likes of Eubank, Benn, Hamed etc, but what about other popular fighters, whose lives haven't been much talked about since retirement, like Herol Graham, who there was a short feature on, or Tony Sibson, Rocky Kelly etc?
What characters do you wonder about most?

He bought a chippy and named it "Henrys Plaice". It was open for about 4 months then Pizza Hut opened a branch next door. Not sure if he sold up after that.jake the snake wrote:Last time i heard Henry Wharton was running a chippy in York

He is doing a lot better than the likes of his other Welsh boxing Contemporaries...Robbie Regan,Neil Swain.... :(
Cheers Tony, nice to hear that I always like Robbo. Swain and Regan....on the other hand.
Remember Swain's battle with Brodie.....ouch

Paul Hodkinson
Steve Robinson
I'd also like to read a recent interview with Lloyd Honeyghan.
Herol Graham also runs boxing classes at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield I believe. I might well join at some point in the future (and take a bag of rice so that I could have a chance of hitting him
