Wouldn't be the case now, but when it was insights in to WBU INtercontinental charades nobody was interested.

High cost programming too, with outside crews and stuff I'd imagine.

I'd pay again to see Adam Smith pretend to be George Plimpton.

However, SKY aren't interested in boxing.

The viewing figures were incredibly low, and they wanted to make more money from advertising.

They had fck all to show on it nowadays anyway.

High programming cost - Ringside was an hour - most of which was either studio talking and undercard action from the non televised Saturday fight night (as it was then called). I'm no Television expert, but surely that didn't cost a lot.

Sky are fools not to be interested in boxing... Mayweather vs Hatton had close to a million PPV buys - thats impressive in this days of multi channel TV.
