If so, will Thaxton get the call now? ie if SN need to fill in an acceptable opponent

But dont SN also want it to be a WBO eliminnator? Or wont that matter? i.e frankie can still get Khan his shot in the summer.

Wales, where did you see the news? If you (like me) noticed it on the boxrec schedule, that could just be an error by them. If there is another source, it makes it more likely.

Is it really off?

Thomas Aryeetey?

Seriously, hopefully we'll see an audaciously exciting replacement, though there's a few wrong'uns loitering around the bottom half of the WBO rankings who I'm sure would take the fight.

Is this the Luis Gonzalez who's ranked #15 :o
http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hu ... &cat=boxer

Chad Brisson is ranked #14 despite not having fought since September '06.

Sounds like the lad has 'flu.

From http://www.translation-guide.com/free_o ... to=English

" can alas excuse oneself to the engagement against Khan the 2. february I've gone to pendulfart between the lavatory and the bed all night. Has constantly nausea , evil belly and raise , and can be no hold on to me "

Dead straight translation

cut a long story short, he is out of it. It ain't going to be Thaxton, as he hasn't had the time to prepare.

I've got a good translation here. Limited amount of characters though.
Exposed great fight

WBO Verdensranglisten's no. 2 in lightweight, Martin Kristjansen, is the billy goat down for the season's national scourge - influenza - so that he is forced to notify on apologies the great fight against the English big talent, Amir Khan, who was to be boxed in London on February 2nd.

In a mail for one's manager, Bettina Palle, scribe Martin Kristjansen:

"I must unfortunately back out to the fight against Khan on February 2nd.

I have gone in shuttle service between the toilet and the bed the whole night.

Has con's ...

The combined effect of that translation and a lunchtime biff nearly sent me over the edge, I almost flipped out and ran round the office naked (again)

Sounds like Kristjansens been dropping the pendelfarts off at the pool....he must have been up all night pendulfarting his back out..... (I could go on)

So he has the shits, and turned into a goat. Tough week.

But at least he has a shuttle service from the toilet and the bed so he doesn't have to drive himself.

Actually, calling JohnShep

Is there any chance we could replace "eff" with "pendulfart" for the swearing sensor?

Even the most depressed of miserable souls couldn't help but chuckle when someone's mouthing off about "that pendulfarter allegedly. He's a billy goat Pendulfarter."
