If it isn't Witter then it's going to be a s**t opponent, because light welterweight has no one else worth fighting. So what we're looking at if this is true, is a stadium fight with some donut in the other corner. Wonderful!

Hatton has been very good. He was spot on vs Castillo which was not long ago. In hindsight it was a bad idea to fight Floyd at 147 though it paid well & brought more profile.

But it would be nice to see a Witter fight. And I'd like to see less of the holding as it is becoming an eyesore.

Hatton is in a bit of a lose-lose situation unless he fights Witter. If he fights someone from abroad and wins, people will just say it was an import brought in "to beat."

I read on the Sheffield Star's site that it may be Demitrius Hopkins at the City of Manchester. Another kick in the teeth for Witter if that happened, by the way, as he was being lined up for Junior in the summer.
