Ryan Waters Dusted

Post by Beltane »

Ryan was out and about putting in a bit of extra-curricular training for his next bout on 14th March as this report in today's "Sunday Terror" mentions:

"NSW junior-middleweight boxer Ryan Waters finished up in hospital after picking on the wrong bouncer at Cronulla hot spot Fusion. The female licensee was punched in the face, getting a broken nose, before Waters was dusted up by a security guard."

Its a sad day when a nationally ranked boxer has to hit a woman to prove a point.

Never met Ryan, but had spoken to him many times on phone.
Always came across as a polite friendly sort of a bloke.
Gawd only knows what prompted him to react in such manner?

Very true, Brute.

When Frank Packer owned this sausage wrapper, the Daily Telegraph's banner included "The paper you can trust".

When Sir Frank, sold the Telegraph (I believe to a young Rupert Murdoch), part of the deal was that "The paper you can trust" monicker stayed with Sir Frank.
