Maybe Torres, being around Eastenders for the first time, got wiff of the Mitchell brothers' reputation. 8)
Not sure you can criticise too much to be honest. Torres was plucked out at the very last minute to save the bill and I suppose that has a certain ominous inevitability about right there.
But yes, you can't really blame him too much - short notice, no chance at all, and brought in for a beat down.Think the old boy holds a shot pretty well too, so he must've wisely decided it'd be a bad idea for a 40 year old bantamweight to hang around shipping punches from a vicious b*****d like Mitchell for 10 rounds. Overcooked it with the wobbly legs though.
Is Mitchell/Johansson on for the Enzo undercard then? I'm surprised, as I'd have thought Frank would save a fight like that for another York Hall bill - Enzo/Haye will sell out regardless, but maybe he reckons he can't let down the York Hall fans down again, if Carl pulls another no show.
