ah but, you see there's no reason not to actually make them very stylee. For instance, you have a stylised picture of marvin hagler, a bit like those T-shirt's you get of Che Guevara, with the word 'Marvelous' underneath, and then boxrec.com printed on the back, for instance.

I worked out a load of designs for boxing buffs that were actually quite fashionable.

I thought so, I was going to buy my own printing machine to make samples and stuff, but I didn't have 750 quid lying around, and still don't, love to do it some day though.

You could do a great series with gold on black....great for clubs and stuff.

They have just a logo though.

How may do you think you could sell? and how would you go about selling them?

Through boxing sites, you could tailor them for each site. If you had your own printer you could make them to order quite easily. Allowing each person to actually pick which design they want, it's what a lot of small outfits do already.

Good quality T-shirts are not expensive if you know where to look, even without buying them in bulk, I found a great swedish company based in London, which had very high quality stuff, and made all kinds of garments for the fashion market.

Baseball caps are also very very cheap.

I actually had two label names as well ready to go for the fashion market, and a load of prototype designs, I tried to get investment from various local initiatives, but it was no go. I was out of work at the time mind, so maybe I could give it a go again....

Far be it from me to horn in but...

1 or 2 of you may remember me i used to post on the ESB British section but i developed a potato allergy and stopped. I still post on the lounge though.

Eddie, i remember you trying to organise something back in November but i went on holiday, came back and the British forum was gone and when it came back a lot of the posters hadn't returned.

I may make an appearance on the 30th but i had an idea.

If you postponed it for 1 week and 1 day you could change the venue to the Sports Cafe near Piccadilly Circus. The website doesn't say that they are showing you've Skelton v Francis then Toney v McCline but i called and they said it was a possibility. There's nothing else on the calender for that night so i'm sure that they could be persuaded if they knew a bunch of thirsty boxing fans were coming.

Go to http://www.cafepress.com and you can sign your Website or Company up there...

You don't have to Pay money because everything you sell you get around 30% of the Money and CafePress have 70% so both parties are making money in the process...

Good idea Shirow, Skelton fight would be fun to watch at the sports cafe - I could make either date but if everyone's on for the 30th maybe we should keep it there and do something like this next time out.

Hello mate, hows tricks?

I can make both dates, so i'm not bothered which we go on - but i'd have thought it'd be best to keep to the 30th now as thats the date which people have discussed and prob asked the Mrs if they're allowed out

Still, thats a quality idea, I like the sports bar in Piccadilly, and may well be a good idea for any future meet ups.

Think I might be in Dagenham on the 30th. At the weekends though, the sports cafe is basically a nightclub, I've been there a few times, do they really show the fights?

Yeah, theres so many screens in there that it's always on a few of them. It does tend to get very busy though.

Sounds a cracking idea. I'll see if I can make it. I'm only in Cannon Street so shouldn't be a problem. My wife is buggering off to New York for a weekend on Friday so she can't really say anything about me having a few swift halfs with some boxing buddies can she?
