if i were in khan's shoes i would have signed with a US promoter when turning pro.
Warren has offered him something no one else could which was building a realy seriouse UK fan base. Yes they fanny about promotionaly but he's making nufff money and getting opponents he beats so its all working well for him, If I were him I'd stay with warren until warren buys me a title than move to GBP or someone with real international clout.
What's wrong with Juarez? He's world class isn't he? Just because Marquez is a talent doesn't mean he is going to get a big one everytime, i mean Barrera, Juarez, Pacquiao is a half decent run of fights if you ask me.
I wasn't getting at Frank (god forbid) i just mean GBP in my humble opinion may have been inclined to move him along just a wee tad faster...allegedly.

Two losses In previous title shots to Barrera and a tuneup doesn't say he was a good choice.

People had huge hopes for Juarez when he came on the scene, after turning pro from a solid amateur career. The Yanks have said that GBP are a little prone at rushing their fighters into title shots and use him as an example.
He's a natural feather who beat Raheem, almost beat Barrera (once on SD many people thought he should've won) and has only lost to Soto, Barrera and Marquez. The last two were at Super Feather. That's not a bad resumé.
However, Rocky couldn't beat a top 10 lightweight, he's just too small. I'd like to see him face Chris John though.
thaxton is the bad guy in all this with his obscene money demands. i seem to remember thaxton saying he'd fight khan for free, what happened there then

It wasn't him who withdrew from the purse bids, though.
