As for Macklin leaving Graham, i'm not that surprised. Last time i spoke to him, December, he said he was thinking of an extended spell training in America, which seemed an innocuous-looking comment at the time. But now i realise that he was probably thinking of a move away.

Its rare for Brum/Black Country to have 3 quality operator in the same division at the same time.
Any combination of those 3 lads would make for a great fight - lets hope something can be done.
Re: MAcklin's move it makes sense seeing as Graham's hands are suffering and his time left in the game is limited.
Matt is ambitious and realises a fighter's career is short - I really hope he gains from training in the States, more and more Brits are giving it a bash and he has a cracking manager in Brian Peters.
No doubt Macklin is a good fighter & has talent. If his move to the USA goes well & he does indeed learn a lot, how far do we think Matt can go?
On the subject of the Macklin parting ways with Billy Graham, I reckon they both came to an agreement where-by both realised Matt would not be able to fulfill all his potential because of the situation with Billy's hands.
In respect of allegedly Warren's most recent column in The Sun, he seems to take great pleasure in having a dig at others' misfortune. Ok, I know Graham & Warren don't exactly like each other (that's an understatement), but Warren said Macklin had dumped Graham as trainer, which was not entirely true.
Having looked on the BBN website & read an article with Billy Graham on the parting of ways with Macklin, it's clear it was not a case of: "By the way, you're fired as my trainer, don't want you no more"!
