Spinks-Judah, March 20th, PPV

Interesting clash for the undisputed welterweight crown. Judah's never struck me as a big light-welter, will the slick southpaws cancel each other out in a snorefest? I fancy Cory on points in an uneventful fight.

think i heard from one of his mates, thats why the WBO dropped hatton from the rankings, if only calzaghe felt the same way

Mr King really does want Spinks out of the scene as quickly as possible. There was ludicriously low money on offer for the Mayorga rematch, and I don't believe Spinks is getting much more for this one.

King still loves Mayorga and if Judah wins, expect Judah vs Mayorga to be made in a quick flash.

Don't expect Judah to lose his belt untill after the result of the contest, if he wins I'll expect he'll vacate, if he loses he will keep his WBO belt.

I think Spinks will win this one, I think Spinks' chin is solid enough and I'm not convinced about Judah - sure he's flashy, but when things don't go entirely his way he looks very poor (note Witter, Coreley, Tszyu). I can't see him having his way with the slick southpaw, Spinks MD.

Judah seems to have dropped into a lull of boring fights, fair enough he blew out Jaime Rangel early but he really needed a big result like that to re-ignite interest in his career. He is mainly on a rebuilding process after the Tszyu loss and i don't think he got the credit he deserved for beating a slick fighter in Demarcus Corley. It all depends on how well Spinks takes a punch as to how this ones goes imo, if Spinks punch resistance is suspect then Judah may rattle his cage but i think Spinks takes a decent shot so i fancy Spinks UD12 Judah.

Fascinating matchup. I've only seen Spinks the once against Mayorga, I reckon Judah might have enough about him to win it on points.

Apparently the show is now postponed 'till the summer.
Fights involving Mayorga-Rivera and Ruiz-Oquendo falling through were to blame.
