The kid looks strong. However, you should never spar a kid that young without headgear. I remember Oscar De La Hoya, Paul Gonzales, Fernando Vargas, and others at the same age. They had that special "it" at the same age.

The kid needs more movement and speed. He fights like a pro, which will hurt him in the elite ranks. However, I do like the way he picks his spots and he seems to have power. Don't get him used taking one shot to land one shot. A style like he is developing will burn him out physically and mentally.

Just my opinion.

I wasted a minute of my life. I have seen better boxing skills displayed by kids in our gym and by a 75 year old (oh but I forgot that the 75 year old had about 100 pro fights so he probably forgot more than this kid knows or may ever know). Stop wasting our time posting about this kid. Wait until he has a bout against someone who has at least 20 bouts and then post the video.

I'm not sure why you want to have people on the internet you do not know evaluate your skills. I am glad you like boxing and hopefully you are in a gym training with a coach. If you win, good things will happen. Good luck.
IMO, coming here for evaluations on shaddow boxing or hitting a heavybag is a waist of time.

You're correct, but I do know a thing or two about grammar. I hate the use of double negatives, which is improper. I have only been involved in the sport for 27 years so I still have a thing or two to learn.

Dennis is right. You should put more focus on getting this kid ready. He looks very green. Don't waste any more time putting him on video. You would be better served for him if you 100% concentrated on technique and getting him in shape. He looked winded after 44 seconds! I have kids in the gym throwing 200 - 300 punches a round when shadow boxing in the ring!
Good luck and take care.

I am almost 42 and I can go 12 rounds on the heavy bag and throw over 250 punches per round and not look as tired as this 18 year old kid looked after less than a minute of SHADOW BOXING. Unbelievable! The thread starter obviously hasn't worked with many skilled boxers.

Emphasis added

Some work is an understatement. Spend more time in the gym and less trying to impress people on the internet. Don't post any videos for at least another 6 months.

The welsh kid is gifted,At only 11 years old,He is switch hitting, footwork is brillant,2 fisted.
This kid reminds me of Naseem Hemead because of the backflip he does, not to the mention the skill aswell. If he continues to delelop like this,i think we have up and coming World Champ.

As for the other chap :D He was blowing after 22 seconds, :box: .If he is the serbian Amateur Champion, then i wouldnt like to see the worst.

The welsh kid has more talent, speed, better footwork then this Muppet!! :TU:

He is quite impressive, but I would take note of Dennis' comments above.
He certainly knows a thing or two about the sport.

The Serbian "champion" should stick to improving and not posting vidoes on here, leaving himself open to ridicule!

250 punches per round and 12 rounds? At 6' 6" you might want to take a shot at my boy Tony Thompson and put yourself in the number 1 contenter position for the heavyweight div Dennis. I on the other hand can take well over 250 puches per round and have the broken noses to prove it.

Hal - that is against a heavybag. Tony moves a little better than that and he would throw back. If I could get my weight down and conditioning up, I would love to spar with him for a few rounds. Although I hate southpaws. Damn feet get in the way, stepping on each other, banging elbows and forearms, sometimes clashing knees and then the occasional head butts. Wow, that is fun.
