March is looking like an excellent month for British boxing, with Haye-Enzo Mega-clash on the 8th followed by the Great Carl Froch in a World title eliminator on the 15thEmerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:Looks like it is:Chambers2 wrote:Good news its in the UK (providing it is). Inkins getting KTFO

And possibly Guzman v Arthur and Rees v Kotelnick if the rumours are to be believed.Chambers2 wrote:March is looking like an excellent month for British boxing, with Haye-Enzo Mega-clash on the 8th followed by the Great Carl Froch in a World title eliminator on the 15thEmerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:Looks like it is:Chambers2 wrote: Good news its in the UK (providing it is). Fair play to Arthur for taking the Guzman fight (if it comes off) hes undoubtedly in for a hiding, but hes willing to test himself and take on the best in the division which is all we ask. I reckon he'll move upto lightweight after Guzman as he seems to be struglging with the 9 st 4lb limit.Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:And possibly Guzman v Arthur and Rees v Kotelnick if the rumours are to be believed.Chambers2 wrote:March is looking like an excellent month for British boxing, with Haye-Enzo Mega-clash on the 8th followed by the Great Carl Froch in a World title eliminator on the 15thEmerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote: Looks like it is:

I've not seem much of Gavin Rees other than the M'Baye fight. Kotelniks very difficult to beat as hes got an excellent water tight defence, but Rees could win this one on workrate as Kotelnik. Should be a close fight IMO, but I'd edge towards Kotlenik
They'll do what the WBC always does, make himn champion and the winner of Froch Inkin Interim champion. They're making the same mess with Dawson and Dianconu at LHW.nickd wrote:Will Calzaghe vacate to fight BHop leaving this for the vacant belt. Or will he only vacate when he has beaten BHop. Froch might regret all that bad mouthing now, if it was me I'd hang onto the belts and vacate the day after the Froch fight if he wins. :p
Just to make money.

Besides it's against Warren's blueprint to put on fights people actually want to see.. especially opponents not his books whom can crack a bit.
I know what you mean though. realy good news about the fight and being in the UK good work by Hennessy. Hopfuly it'll be somewhere near me so I can get tickets :-D.
I think Carl will win but am really looking forward to it.

The advantage of Froch's low left is it draws people in and there eyes down unsure where the next shot is going to be from low or high.Max Molyneux wrote:Froch has his left low too.Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:Inkin looks like a MW at the weigh-in!
His left is also fairly low after he throws.
Lets hope he can step It up.
Really looking forward to it. I hope people who have been saying for the last two years that Froch will get found out at "world" level cos of his hands down style will conceed they are wrong.
It is my understanding that Froch is also European manditory, if this is an eliminator would he still be able to fight for the EBU title? also how about if he's "intirum" champ.
