I assume the fight on the 1st will be cancled but it does mean the fellow is in training already
I wouldn't say a 32 year old super featherweight moving up in weight, who has lost 2 of his last 3 is worthy of a world title eliminator.

Good choice from Warren though on short notice, he ticks all the right boxes. Big name, past his peak, not a big puncher, loses every time he faces someone decent. Should stretch Khan and maybe take it the distance.
In the context of the other fight which was to have been a world title eliminator I'd say this fight was more worthy yes, I don't think its ideal but for the WBO borbal then it's better than the previouse fight.
Good choice of opponent. Never been stopped, been in with Corrales and a better KO ratio than Khan's previous opponents.

i has his fight with Malcolm Klassen from late 06 and remember it was a close fight at the time. Khan should be too fast and young for St Clair at a higher weight for him.

When you look into the facts about this St Clair fella, he is just right for Khan to get another notch on his record - One thing he does have in his favour though, as far as I know he has never been stopped - If Khan cant stop him he will get 12 rounds of experiance from the fight which will be very good for him - Would have preferred Jon Thaxton, but it would be a big risk - Khan will look massive against this little guy who only just makes LW while Khan is almost a LWW - St Clair has held a title and thats the sort of fighter Khan needs for gaining experiance - You could therefore say its another step up for Khan, but it looks on paper a pretty safe fight and another win for him.
