I'm of the view that she was as annoying as hell whilst understanding why she was so caught up in it. I do think people should be considerate of those sat around them though - it's not pleasant when you get it in the ear all night. Can you imagine what it was like for the poor person sat behind Frank Bruno at the Benn-McClellan fight? :box:

If we are going to outlaw screeching we should also outlaw people sitting ringside and spending all of their time on their mobile waving at their mates. Kick 'em out I say.

If both were to be outlawed, poor old Amir Khan would have zero followers.

Im not ashamed to admit Ive been one to shout for the boxer Im supporting. But since I had a Tracheotomy my voice isnt as strong as it used to be so I dont shout all the way through usually just when stoppage is coming. :TU:

I made one comment about "Shouldn't you be at home doing the washing up"
My god she went like Tony Wilson's Mum, and i had no security there to help me.

Good fight, didn't like the attitude of the opponent though (sorry, name escapes me) - he had the fight won but he didn't want to win. He should have been gutted that he lost, but instead chuffed and posing to the cameras
It was so frustrating watching him, he had Vinnie there for the taking but chose not to. No disrespect to Vinne but I was hoping he would loose after his knockdown so it banishes the 0 from his record and then maybe we'd see him in some decent match ups. The longer they have the 0 the more padding of records we seem to see, so frustrating.

I missed the fight but people screaming at ringside can be thoroughly annoying. Especially ones "screaming advice", i mean mostly they are people without a clue shouting things like "it im ard" or the likes!

I met Robin Deakin after he fought Eddie Hyland in Belfast and he was a nice fella, in great condition and gave his all. Shame he has dropped into loser mentality by the sounds of it.

Screaming from ringside is annoying, but you can understand it when it's coming froma loved one I guess.

Many an amateur show I have been to I have spotted lads not only giving advice but THROWING the punches they are trying to instruct "their" fighter to throw :o

Now THAT is fvcking weird(and hilarious to boot!)

In some cases, segregarted seating- like at football- would be a good idea.

I agree- and well said!

People shouting is annoying, but to me it is much worse when people nearby are constantly chatting, texting etc and ignoring the fight, especially during the undercard.

I can understand maybe one or two shots being thrown in excitement, but this guy I remember was throwing constantly through the whole 4 rounds!!!!
He had some stamina!

Persoanlly I'd rather a buxom lass be screaming her head off at ringside than a bloke with a beer gut and a 5 days growth of beard, for one thing the lasses are usually easier on the eye (if not the ear!) .... :TU: :box:

Yeah I remember, watched the fight last night again.

Gave it to Ronald Wright by 7 rounds to 5.

Wright has to be one of the most overrated fighters of all time.

Its an interesting contrast, she is flaked by two guys in glasses who look like accountants! Next to them is an easy going looking tall guy, and on the other side an allegedly type guy.

The irony that betting expert Statto is now bankrupt is quite funny (although, not a nice funny obviously). Has he been sacked from that role with the BBC - surely he cannot continue giving his advice.
