Is it just me that's getting sick of MMA advertisements on a boxing site, much less an amateur boxing site. This should have a few USA Boxing banners, don't you think.

I believe that one of the ways this web site makes money is through paid advertising. I don't believe USA Boxing would pay to advertise here. :o

USA Boxing should think about PR, marketing, advertising, etc. The NGB needs to do some promoting of the sport to help gain interest. Even MMA/UFC didn't do well until they changed their marketing approach. Now look at them.

But we don't have any money!!! And I don't think advertising on this forum would bring in any revenue - just my opinion.

If they would have done some marketing over the years, they might have some money now.

I wached fight quest and to my surprise one of the boxers in the show was 2004 Olympian VIcente Escobedo, and glinses of 2004 mexican Olympian Abner Mares, so we can take it as some publicity for amateur boxing, if just more networks would mention amateur boxing in a positive direct or indirect way like this show did, amateur boxing glory days might comeback. :box:
