Rob Calloway Question

Post by BoxBuzz »

The thread begins with this quote...

"in Rob Calloway's record here on the site, there is a bout in 1999 against dan kosmicki which lists as no contest, though calloway had won by ko."

Rob says he has a tape of the fight with the ref announcing the decision in his favor. He claims he was never told of any action that would require this be reported as a NC. He also says try as he may he can not get this fight reported correctly.

I leave this in your very capable hands....

here is the thread in question..

 U r asking the wrong guys, there is nothing we can do.

BoxRec doesn’t make the news, we just record it.
The show is locked, which means it is the “official” commission verdict.
The only way we can change it is to receive an “official” addendum
from the commission.

Well if that's the official outcome...then end of story. Thanks Blue.

Gotta love those "officials" and the power they apparently wield. Unless of course all parties were aware going in and simply not 'fessin up'.

Guess the real story will remain somewhat less than transparent.

Had team Galloway known about the power of the NC, we could be talking about a fine 1-0-1 Yorkshire prospect. Sadly however, the power of the commission has dictated that "the Kent Davis killer" had to be put out to pasture in permanent folklore (folklore is 2 miles sw of Bradford)
