Is this common knowledge?
Its not common knowledge IMO
The Hopkins fight had been rumoured and when Junior was interviewed on FightNetwork he said something like "Hopkins is in the pipeline, hes deciding if he wants to take the fight. Come on Hopkins step upto the plate". It looks like he has, good fight for JW.
I presume this fight will happen in Hopkins backyard which is not a bad thing if it guarentees US TV and exposure.

I thought none of the above. N'Dou has a rematch clause for this summer with Paulie and I thought the WBO might have mandated a rematch with Torres and Holt, due to the dodgy stoppage. However, I'm not 100% certain of the latter so maybe someone else could clarify.
Good question Stu - probably ready fairly soon, but looks beatable and is bankable without one. Intersting how his career will develop - he is improving as a fighter, but not sure how good he'll become. Looks a little vulnerable to the right counter.
Hopkins style is hit and move - covers the whole ring whilst popping the jab out. Orthodox and although he's a "runner" he's a lot more orthodox than Malignaggi who tends to lean away from punches and use his reflexes. Also, I think despite a low KO%, Hopkins has scored a couple of quite stunning ko's(zepeda was one) so his power is at least respectable.

Cheers BP
Don't know if Hopkins has had his chin-checked yet, but Junior will definately give it a thorough workout. If D-Hop is abit of a runner it may not make for a great spectacle though
Witter in a big title fight in Vagas, I think the american press will hype it up as a certainty for Hopkins and then if he springs an upset Witter will be able to say that he always knew he was the best fighter in the world and the amricans just mite start to believe him.
