Isn't little Chris just a novice though?

Hard to say any novice amateur will be better than a very good pro world champion....

Nothing like talking up your fighters I guess

Wasn't there some rumours circulating a while back of Chris Jr, handling people like Oakey very well in sparring?

Yeah and that was when he was first starting out, at 16, with just weeks of training.

He was apparently bashing up Montell Griffin (!) earlier in the year, and now gets the better of Carlos De Leon Jr (very competent prospect) daily.

Chris Sr told him "Son, lightning doesn't strike in the same place twice". But he wants to prove his dad wrong and try to be better than he was! He also wants to fight Barry McGuigan's son.

Lennox Lewis reminds me a lot of my best friend. I hope that Eubank Jr is successful. It would be a great story.

I remember when I watched that thinking about how bright lewis seemed when Eubank was making the argumetn about not wanting his son to be hurt.

I think its good if the kids getting his aggression out that way rather than fornicating street fights on youtube. I hope we get another british prospect called Eubank although if he'll have the same style in the ring as his dad who'd rather pose than fight sometimes is doubtful.

Seriously, if he is really handling all these experienced pros so easily, why on earth is he hankering after a fight with Shane McGuigan who is still a novice?

I'am always dubious of gym rumours, especially when it's about sons of ex-world class fighters.

Maybe he is going to be something special, who knows.
Surely if he is progressing so fast, his pro debut cannot be far away?
