He should hurry up and announce an opponent soon. If he aint defendin his title for another 6months so be it but he needs to stay busy.

like i say all lies. The guy obviously thinks Haye has a suspect chin. And there is some evidence to back that up, but to completely make up rumours saying that Haye has been floored by Gurov, Williams and Greenberg is very sad, just to try and prove his point further. None of these guys have floored David in sparring.

Alot of the time we dont find out what happens in sparring sessions so rumours can be hard to prove wrong, but in this case there is no doubt about it.

Interesting topic, who else has David sparred?

You guys seem to be in the know. I'd love to hear some more accounts especially since Haye could go from strength to strength if he beats Maccarinelli.

I know sparring and real ring fights aren't attached at the hip but it's an interesting topic either way.

Are there any other rumours/accounts surrounding other British fighters that might not be known to the uninitiated?

is haye gonna be one of those fellas that is too big for cruiser but not with the physical defensive attributes to hold heavyweight shots. after all, holyfield made the transition well but he had one hell of a chin too.

I still think that he'll easily beat most heavyweights to the jab, has way more boxing ability than just about everyone in the division, and will go on to do something when he regains his sharpness up at the higher weight. Along the way, I bet he'll be in some exciting matchups.

Rumours have & always will circulate. Can't stop them! Maybe if Maccarinelli hears about Haye apparent troubles in sparring, he'll gain more confidence?

As long as Haye does the business on March 8th, that's all I'm concerned with!
