Then DLH and MAB would not even answer his calls!
He would just be a fat manc git after that, AN EVEN RICHER ONE!

Witter last fought in September and now faces DHop in a nothing fight.
Between September 07 and June 08 (when Hatton fights)- Junior could have had two quality fights- Torres and Malinaggi making him the WBC, WBO and IBF champion.
Then Hatton would have no choice he would be frozen out. Team Witter should look at making good fights rather than begging Hatton to fight him.
Your name says it all!

The thing is, Hatton is at the end of his career. I would be suprised if he fought after his outing in April.
He has trained for 30 (yes count them 30) 12 rounders for over 10 years. There is no way he can get down to light welterweight and probably doesn't have the inclination to either.
Witter is fresher, Witter has only trained for 15 12 rounders has less battle scars both mental and physically and of course has the style to beat Hatton.
Witter would beat him now. It would be a closer fight at welterweight but Hatton is a fight away from becoming shot.
If Hatton would have fought Witter 6 months after their famous TV spat then Hatton would have stopped Witter inside the distance, Shea Neary and Naz have knocked out Junior Witter in sparring, in a 12 rounder Hatton would have put Witter away.
But that won't be the case now.

How many of his fans are real fans and not just casual football fans?
I notice there are only 3/4 of you even bothering to big Junior up. Hatton would walk through him.
He's just been fighting the p4p King in America, has beaten Castillo and Urango, Collazo and Maussa overseas and you recokon he's had silver spoon treatment?
A half-full Donaster Dome suits you better does it? Were you at the Harris fight? You can't have been, there were only six of us there and three were with me :)
Cannot see it happening, Hatton has got bigger fish to fry across the pond. Why not get what he can while he has the capital to burn and this is what he is doing. As another poster mentioned earlier its all abour risk versus the rewards. Witter is too much risk and little reward for Hatton and another loss at home will virtually retire him I feel especially as how hard he took the loss to Mayweather.. a loss to witter and he will be wearing a strait jacket..
However whomever wins is actually besides the point..witter may beat him or or may not. The biggest reason Ricky is beginning to look like an ass is due to "I wont give him a pay day cause he bad mouthed me". If this reason is actually true then I have no more respect for Ricky.. this is bullshit and shows what little heart he has. C'mon Rikcy you bigger than that!!!! I hope I am wrong and he does fight witter or atleast admits to the real reaosns as to why he wont fight him. Boxers have been ducking boxers since ages but this excuse is jut utter rot!!!!

To hikack the footy analogy maybe Hatton fans work in manual jobs to get the money to follow him whereas us lot (who sit on the 'net all day in work) are equivalent to the modern day middle-class footy fans?
I wish Hatton had the same confidence as you, we may get to see the fight then.Captain Hook wrote:What an absolute load of horse shit.Max Molyneux wrote:Witter's worked hard for a big payday, while that sissy fought picked at the right time fighters at the MEN getting the silver spoon treatment.

With regards to Max's 'Silver spoon' treatment, Hatton has had the license to progress his career at his own pace (Michael Stewart as his 37th fight etc.) and hes been able to get the BIG opportuinities when he wants them (Zoo and PBF). Hattons definately had the silver spoon treatment IMO.

So what are you saying, Hatton hasnt got the bottle to fight Witter in case he loses? - We are agreed on the excuses thing, its rediculous - Hatton has a lot to gain by fighting Witter RESPECT he certainly doesnt need the money - If he wins he shuts a lot of people up and these arguements about can he beat Witter will be killed stone dead - If he doesnt fight Witter the issue will still be argued 20/30 years from now and he wont be classed as an ATG when he retires by most people, not even considered our best LWW - The reward is therefore respect and our reward for following him through the years is finally getting the fight we all want to see.MecnunK wrote:Cannot see it happening, Hatton has got bigger fish to fry across the pond. Why are you using the opposition logic to say why Hatton would win? What an absolute load of horse shit.

Yes, he got the FW silver spoon treatment to the top. The Hatton's picked the right fighters to make him so overrated. He was skys cash cow
Witter got thrown In the lions den and fought Judah on two weeks notice and did well and was put out of the spot light ever since, so he worked his way back the hard way.
Castillo was clearly chosen at the right time, he struggled against that Herman guy and some thought that decision was close enough to go either way but they didn't want to lose out on fighting Castillo.
Don't even mention Urango, he got a gift and was a boy against a man and Hatton was gassing against him.
The Callazo fight showed he was a bully who struggles with guys his own size It showed how effective that style really was that night.
He should of sparked Maussa much faster, he was eating unneeded shots and got cut considering the guy didn't come to win.
Yeah, he fought the P4p no 1 by slagging him off Into a fight totally overconfident In his stamina and fouling pressure fighting and got owned.
Whats wrong with asking how many of his fans are genuine fans and not the footy fans who only support him? I would go to a Witter fight If I could afford It and not stupid enough to drain my bank account around the christmas holidays to go to Vegas.
At least Witter will fight anyone and doesn't care so much about the money.
I ain't a fan nomore, they lie to fornicate and forget what shit they said before the fight. Like the Welterweight excuse for example, they said It didn't matter because Floyd wasn't a career one then when he lost brought It up. He'll fight DLH more than Witter because he'll have an excuse If loses at least.

Expect Hatton to have 1 more fight then blam motivation and retire his punk ass self and run from Witter for ever more!Max Molyneux wrote:And Hatton lost to Floyd nearly exactly the way I said, he was timed and countered.
Witter's no Mayweather obviously but his counter punching, timing and accuracy would KO Hatton.
Mayweather fought him because it was the biggest money fight out there. It had nothing to do with the insults.Max Molyneux wrote:Yeah, he fought the P4p no 1 by slagging him off Into a fight totally overconfident In his stamina and fouling pressure fighting and got owned.
What is stupid about going to Vegas to support a fighter? Nothings stupid about going to Vegas. DLH made Mayweather more money and he has enough to retire, Hatton was calling him boring for not being a retarded and eating shots to look exciting. He deserved what Mayweather did to him.
There Hatton fans which Is fair enough but there not any better than yes men, they were totally bias and had no respect for Mayweather and thought he was crap till Ricky lost. Actually noticed alot of people changing their thoughts Floyd now because he beat Ricky, especially In boxing news letters.
They should of known how good Floyd was, they probably never even knew about the opponents much, just knew that Ricky was fighting him. Alot of pub goers I've seen in pubs have talked like that.
Every fighter cares about money, just that Witter wasn't tempted to go the easier route like Ricky did through money. Ricky said the WBU was the belt paying the bills, not the British title In his book.
It's not silly, It's as bad as being a sore loser, he gave Floyd respect afterwards but they said beforehand the weight wasn't an issue then said It was, thats was only one example why I've gone off Hatton though. It wasn't the full reason. Hatton's losing credibility with the real fans.
He's already got a shed load of money, he's just a fat greedy pig. Plus he would have the weight excuse If he fought DLH, DLH will seriously hurt him If they fight.

Mayweather could have retired years ago, but why should he if he can keep on making vast amounts of money?Max Molyneux wrote:Nothings stupid about going to Vegas. Mayweather and Hatton have been insulting each other for years, Hatton saying Mayweather was boring was just part of that, and he never said Mayweather had to eat shots to be exciting.
Fans should support their fighter, they wouldn't be fans if they constantly had a go at him and thought he was crap.Max Molyneux wrote:There Hatton fans which Is fair enough but there not any better than yes men, they were totally bias and had no respect for Mayweather and thought he was crap till Ricky lost. Perhaps he didn't think it would be an issue and then found out it was. Either way, every fighter makes excuses after a loss and it doesn't make them sore losers.Max Molyneux wrote:It's not silly, It's as bad as being a sore loser, he gave Floyd respect afterwards but they said beforehand the weight wasn't an issue then said It was, thats was only one example why I've gone off Hatton though. Real fans would continue to support Hatton whatever he decides to do.
If they fought at Welterweight Hatton could well beat DLH.Max Molyneux wrote:He's already got a shed load of money, he's just a fat greedy pig. Plus he would have the weight excuse If he fought DLH, DLH will seriously hurt him If they fight.
I was there. No one has ever walked through Junior. I don't think Hatton would either. Max - watching you trying scrap an argument together is like watching a retard fook a doorknob.
When will Witter fight anyone? He turned up in the same ring as Zab and didn't fight.
He doesn't care about money because nobody will offer him any. Why? Because he's dull. He does not capture the imagination. Boxing is a business as well as a sport.
You would go to a Witter fight if you could afford it? Doncaster is not that far away mate, you've had plenty of chances.
Hatton has JUST lost to Mayweather having done well for the first 5/6 rounds and now he's overrated and hiding from Junior fornicating Witter?! Give me a break.

I'm not saying Hatton hasn't fought a few tomato cans in his time, but so has Witter. Michael Stewart was an eliminator for the title and was destroyed. Tackie and Oliveira were decent tests at that point in his career. Maee and Rowland were domestic and respected.
Pendleton, Phillips, Pep were over the hill, but it's a learning curve. Rios etc were pointless fights, I agree with that.
Who has the higher standard of opposition? Who has gone over to America to prove themselves?
Who has sat back in Yorkshire calling out Hatton for years?
And saying Tszyu was "shot" is bullshit. Who here had Hatton to beat Tszyu? I didn't. At least I'm honest!
Witter IS A GOOD fighter but in my opinion a hungry Hatton at light-welter would dismantle him.

To play devils advocate. Witter has been unable to get fights in the states because he's not a draw, and also because he is a danger man, and nobody wants to fight him. Do you think Junior would rather fight at the Doncaster dome than the MGM, get real!
Whilst Tszyu wasn't shot, he was certainly nearing the end of his career. I think the fact that Kostya didn't call for a rematch or try and get back in the ring confirms this. While I think Kostya would have had a hard fight with Hatton even a couple of years before, I think he would probably have prevailed in a hard battle and probably given Ricky a hiding down the stretch.
