According to Boxing Illlustrated, the win over Terry Hinke was his 12th fight.

boxrec has this as his 5th.

Can anyone supply the missing fights? (RR books perhaps?)

In RRB 1980 and 76 it has Henry Clark as his first fight!

It appears James first fought in 1965.

What $ meant was yesterday there seemed to be a duplicate for James.

I'll keep looking for more fights in old RRB's etc. tonight
