I enjoyed the training notes, but it make you laugh, all that work for one punch. It wasn't that he couldn't get up, it was that he didn't want to (most know the feeling, but its how you react that matters). Poor effort from the express, but well done Mark. It didn't really help gauge your progress though.

so right, tutaki is a bum and took a dive just like wen bowie tupou hit him solo would noc mark out cold, sorry mark but thats how i see it,for people to suggest a demori vs solo fight would be good are wrong, mark you need to fight someone who's gunna how a go back.till then i think your wasteing your time padding your record.how much do they pay in the usa for 4rd's?maybe you could fight butterbean that would b a bigger joke then the tutaki fight

It was no dive. Tutaki let his guard down and got caught by a short right he did not see coming.

I do agree that Tutaki is a bum.

It was a good weekend for Indonesia. Their best fighter retained his World Featherweight title and that old bastard Suharto died.

Strangely enough, the stadium where the fights were held was named after "Bung Karno " stadium, after Sukarno, the Indonesian president Suharto deposed in the 1960s ("Bung", Indonesian for brother, was Sukarno's nickname).

I agree. It was a good puch, but if he was ko'ed why was he laughing with his corner a couple of moments latter, unless there was some time-delay on the U-tube footage.

I reckon its probably the same as the Tyson - Etienne fight, Etienne got hit and yeah he probably could have got up but he didn't want to...

I don’t blame him. I would’ve done the same :P
Tutaki arrived in Indo on the day of the fight. It’s a long drive from Auckland to Jakarta.

What opponent has Solo beaten that suggests he could beat Mark, Solo has been hurt before and by lesser fighters than Mark. I see this as a 50/50 fight id even lean slightly towards a DeMori win.
Its easy to say he needs to have opponents that fight back but Solo has done the same for every one of his fights,
At least Mark is going to the states to better himself instead of fighting here on his Rugby prowess and not amounting to shit.

When has Solo been hurt? In the last ten months, since he made his comeback, nobody has lasted three rounds with him. Three of his five fights in that time he has won in the first.

When has Haumono been hurt? He has won all of his 13 fights by KO. Since he made his comeback last year nobody has lasted a full three rounds with him. Three he has won in the first.

Shane Wijohn had him down in there fight and Haumono was saved by the bell and Wijohns showboating in front of Roy Jones Jnr, Wijohn then tired in the 4th or 5th round and was stopped himself.

As Solo got up & KOed Wijohn he could not have been that badly hurt. Wasn't Mark KOed in one by Whyborn? Didn't Solo KO Whyborn in two? I wish both Mark and Solo well, but we should keep things in perspective.

Solo was very badly hurt and since that fight i havnt really given him much thought as a good heavy as Wijohn is far from a big puncher, Mark was stopped by Digger who actually can hit and has had a lot of our top heavies on the canvas.

I see this fight as a 50/50 and i want to see what Solo does when he actually gets hit back by someone with power.

Wijohn had about eight kilos on Solo in that fight, as well as being about 5cm taller than him. Wyborn was no more than a cruiserweight when Solo beat him for the New South Wales heavyweight title. He mostly fought at light heavyweight.
