So it looks like a win yet again for Ali!!! I suppose Louis could sneak up from behind but I doubt it.

One of the gloves that Louis actually used to fight Marciano, with an inscription from Louis saying "Retired always Joe Louis", was on sale recently on eBay.

It only went for 1000 bucks.

Didn't Marciano reputedly cry after beating Louis?
Yes, he did.

That's the story... He went into his dressing room afterwards, held his hand and cried...

Apparently after Holmes-Ali, Holmes walked by Ali's dressing room. Ali was all alone. Holmes looked in and said "I love you, man." Ali turned around and said "Then why'd you beat me up?"
Very sad, the Ali-Holmes fight. I still find it shocking that Ali had another fight after that.

In relative terms he wasn't so bad against Berbick. Whatever he did to get6 the weight off prior to Holmes just sapped his energy. Still shouldn't have fought either fight though.
