Did he say Tyson was going pro soon? Tyson is taller than his father but John is thick. When Tyson stops growing and develops musscles and man strength...keep an eye out for him. I think he'll be something special.

When I met John durin the summer of '06, he said he was going to keep Tyson amateur until 2012 with London hosting the Olympics. Tyson would have had a lot more international experience and probably had a chance to medal but I hear John has changed his mind and wants to turn him pro soon.

I assume you mean 'thickset'!!!!!

I think they've decided that Tyson will box for Ireland as he was deemed too young for the ENgland Senior squad or something.....

Yeah that's what I meant. I forgot you Brits use "thick" for meaning stupid. No I would not call him stupid. I'm a Yank so I'm not familar with stones for weight but in pounds I would say he is about 270 lbs....thickset.

After Tyson lost to Price for the ABA he went to Ireland and was boxing out of a club in Belfast so he could enter the Irish championships and try to make the Olympics representing Ireland. John was born in Ireland but Tyson had to prove he had been living in Ireland/Northern Ireland for 12 months. He could not do that so he was not allowed to box. So now I'm wondering if he is going pro or will wait til the 2012 Olympics.
