CHEERS ESHAM

Post by seanshortfusehughes »

Dont get to say much usually but just wanted to say ta to esham pickering for his comments on doghouseboxing.com about our fight the other week, it was nice to hear another professional boxer say what he said about me going on to better things after this fight. There was never any needle between us before and after the fight and it just shows that 2 decent blokes can put their heart and soul on the line all for the love of the sport and the glory.

That was an outstanding fight- I really enjoyed it. Thanks! Bad luck that time, and good luck in the future. What I was also impressed with was the ammount of support from Yorkshire- exactly the sort of thing boxing needs, the atmosphere that night was amazing.

good luck to you sean, i was ringside that night and it was a special evening. it was myself who interviewed esham in newark a few days after the fight.

the 2 of you are a credit to the sport, and good luck to you in the future, id like to see you challenge for the english title then move on from there, you have the support and the heart mate.

Sean's a great lad - and fair play to Esham too. He really turned it around. Honour and respect. A reminder of what makes this sport great.

You gave it a great go, I dont know how you got through that 4th and 5th rounds... no reason why you cant build on this fight and still pick up a title... good luck mate... :box: :box: :box:
